KEY COMPONENTS

POWER UNIT

The machine is powered by a John Deere 4045DF170 53kW water cooled diesel engine coupled to a variable displacement pump. Access to the engine compartment is gained via a pair of doors placed on either side of the engine compartment.

The power unit assembly is mounted on a sliding arrangement to facilitate maintenance. Once four holding bolts have been loosened, the engine can be slid out without disconnecting any of the hoses or cables

HOPPER & BELTFEEDER

The Loading Hopper fitted is designed with a 1.4 cubic metre capacity and tapered sides for greater efficiency.

The variable speed inclined beltfeeder fitted with a 600mm wide belt has a speed of 0-20m/min. Driven by a hydraulic motor the beltfeeder can handle the most difficult material with maximum efficiency. Local control on operator platform allows speed adjustment and direction reversing for clearing blockages.

CRUSHER

The Crusher is fitted with a heavy duty 3 hammer variable speed rotor. High chrome reversible hammers. Hardox liners and impact plates.

The housing is fitted with primary and secondary impact aprons. Both are independently adjustable.

The feed opening is 520mm x 480mm (20.5 x 18.9 inches) and hydraulic opening has been added to the crusher for easy maintenance.

DISCHARGE CONVEYOR

The variable speed inclined discharge conveyor fitted with a 600mm wide belt has a speed of 0-60 m/min. Drive is via a hydraulic motor and hydraulic folding has been added for transportation requirements.

OPERATOR'S CONTROL PANEL

The starter panel is enclosed in a lockable hinged front panel for added security. Incorporating into the starter panel is the electronic engine protection system and a tachometer for viewing the rotor speed. Speed settings for all functions are controlled/set on this panel.

The hydraulic control panel fitted at ground level has all the controls centrally located. This allows the operator to quickly and easily optimize production preventing unnecessary downtime.

Controls for the folding discharge conveyor are strategically positioned to allow clear vision when raising and lowering into position.

Notes:

All figures shown are provided as an application aid only. No guarantees are expressed or implied.

Maximum feed size is indicative. Actual feed sizes will depend on type of grading, steel content, feed rate  and various other factors.

Higher and lower maximums can be expected and will depend on many factors, including:

Hardness of the material

Shape of the feed material – a flat hard rock will break easier than a softer round or cubical rock

Grading of the feed material – A mixed size feed (recommended) will flow easier and crush easier than a single sized feed.

 Speed of the rotor

All sizes shown are maximums for the longest dimension of the feed material.

If the feed material is very cubical, i.e. the maximum dimensions of length (l) x width (w) x height (h) are close to a ratio of (l)1x  (w)1 x  (h)1, then the maximum feed size should be reduced by at least 33%. For example, should you wish to feed hard concrete with dimensions close to (l) 300mm x (w) 300mm x (h) 300mm, the maximum feed size allowable will reduce by 33%.
